Millions of people suffer from knee-pain due to osteoarthritis. Losing excess weight, steroid injections and surgery are some of the remedies. But the researchers of Melbourne University pave way to tastier route for this problem.
- Fruit: Eating vitamin c rich fruit reduced the risk of developing bone marrow lesions. Oranges, grapefruit, mangoes, kiwifruit and papaya are rich in Vitamin C and so are called Knee friendly fruits.
- Fish: A study by researcher Artemis Simopoulos suggests that Omega -3 fatty acids may block nthe chemicals that block inflammaion and also the protiens known to wear knee cartilage.
