Since fever, there will be lack of enough proteins and required calories to body. To equalize it, daily intake of 60 grams of proteins and 1800 calorie food is essential.

  1. Food rich in protein like fish, meat, egg, curd, buttermilkk, skimmed milk, lentils are recommended.
  2. Easily digestible foods are only recommended during this period. Soaked and sprouted grams will be very effective. Deep fried food and fibre rich food can also be eliminated.
  3. Steamed food, Stir fried food, food rich in fat, sauted food are also effective.
  4. Liquid items like water, buttermilk, tender water, tea without sugar will add much energy to fever affected person.
